Battle of Malta Online has wrapped up, handing out more than $35,000,000 across 764 tournaments and 100 seats to the Battle of Malta Autumn Edition. CoinPoker’s next flagship series, the Global Online Poker Championship, kicks off later this month.
Battle of Malta Online Wraps Up, Paying Out Over $35,000,000
Battle of Malta Online ran from July 12th through August 3rd, backed by a $30,000,000 guarantee that included three Main Events, CoinMillion, and 77 trophy tournaments alongside a packed schedule.
By the time the series closed, total prize pools had reached $35,120,885, topping the initial guarantee by over $5.1 million. Over the 23-day run, 764 tournaments drew 528,237 entries, not counting satellites.

CoinPoker handed out 100 Battle of Malta Autumn Edition live packages, worth $2,500 apiece, for the in-person festival in Malta running October 27th to November 4th.

Main Event Champions
Three Main Event titles were decided on the closing day, each capping a multi-flight tournament that had been running since the series began.
In the $565 Main Event, Hemingway outlasted 4,778 entries to take home $250,000 from a $2,546,674 prize pool, the largest of the entire festival. Along with the cash, the champion earned a physical Battle of Malta trophy and its digital counterpart in the CoinPoker Trophy Cabinet.

Elsewhere, MarianexBJ took the $55 Main Challenger for $50,000, and Syn won the $11 Main Crusader for $10,000. Both received trophies of their own.
CoinMillion: Battle of Malta Edition
The Battle of Malta run of The CoinMillion kicked things off on opening weekend with a $1,000,000 guarantee.

monc took first place and $121,500, along with a physical trophy and its permanent digital version. n7v7rcapp7d, JohnnieTsunami, IdiOtsudaDavai, and LappyPoker7 rounded out the five-figure payouts.
The August Edition of CoinMillion is already running and has hit Day 2, with 35 players left chasing a $120,155 top prize. AgroVadim currently leads with just under 85 big blinds.
That edition pulled in 4,000 unique entrants and 1,113 re-entries, pushing the total prize pool past its guarantee to roughly $1.02 million.
The next CoinMillion lands right at the start of the Global Online Poker Championship, on Sunday, September 6th.
High Roller Champions
Battle of Malta Online also crowned winners across its biggest buy-in events, including the CoinMasters Bitcoin High Roller, The Iron Throne, and other featured High Rollers.
High-stakes PLO regular and VIP Arena member Giselle54 took down the $5,200 High Roller for $68,244, with Lukabrate as runner-up for $45,612.
Normally seen at the high stakes Pot Limit Omaha tables playing million dollar pots, Giselle54 jumps into a No Limit Hold’em tournament, and takes it down.

The $1,500 CoinMasters Bitcoin High Roller went to pensefortement, who banked $235,000 along with a trophy and a gold-plated CoinMasters Bitcoin coin.
Meanwhile, MystereEtBouleDeGomme claimed The Iron Throne for $129,129, one of several High Roller wins across the festival’s $1,050-to-$5,200 buy-in range.
100 Packages Won for Battle of Malta Autumn Edition
The series also handed out 100 live packages to the Battle of Malta Autumn Edition, each worth $2,500, through two separate qualification paths.
It’s not often you see an 8bb preflop punt with AA and it’s even rarer that you directly benefit from it.

Twenty-five seats came from the three online Main Events, and the remaining 75 were won through the multi-stage Battle of Malta Champion’s Trials. Each package covers a €600 Autumn Main Event ticket, accommodation, and a travel allowance.
77 Trophies Handed Out
On top of the prize money, Battle of Malta Online gave out 77 trophies to Main Event, High Roller, and select featured-tournament champions.
Every winner got a digital trophy for their CoinPoker Trophy Cabinet, plus the choice of picking up the physical version at the Trophy Ceremony during the Autumn Edition or having it shipped home.
Global Online Poker Championship Launches August 23rd
With Battle of Malta Online in the books, CoinPoker turns its attention to the Global Online Poker Championship (GOPC), launching August 23rd.

The championship splits into three regional schedules timed to primetime in Asia, Europe, and Latin America, with core events spread across three buy-in tiers so players can pick stakes and times that fit them.
In total, GOPC carries a $50,000,000 guarantee, with buy-ins spanning $2.20 to $25,500 across regional events, Medal Events, Main Events, High Rollers, and satellites.
CoinMillion Returns for GOPC
The CoinMillion comes back during GOPC with a $215 buy-in and a $1,000,000 guarantee.
It kicks off the first Sunday of the championship, September 6th, at 15:30 UTC, with plenty of satellites offering cheaper routes in.
