Henrikh Mkhitaryan to join Inter

Roma midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan is set to join Serie A rivals Inter on a free transfer next month when his contract ends. The move had been touted in recent weeks, but Il Corriere dello Sport report that the deal is already complete.

The Armenia international limped off 15 minutes into Roma’s Europa Conference League match last night, a game that is expected to be his last for the Giallorossi.

Corriere report that he will sign a two-year contract worth €3.5 million net per year and will undergo a medical once he has recovered from injury.

The 33-year-old has made 116 appearances for Roma scoring 29 goals in 3 seasons for the club.
