Inter suffered an injury setback in their 1-0 win over Atletico Madrid as striker Marcus Thuram was forced off in the final minutes of the first half. The Frenchman was replaced by Marko Arnautovic who scored the only goal of the game, but there were concerns for Thuram who pulled up just after forcing a save from Jan Oblak.
Sky Sport Italia report that the initial diagnosis is an issue with the adductor of the right thigh, with the striker expected to undergo more tests in the coming days.
The former Borussia Monchengladbach forward initially soldiered on, remaining on the field until the end of the first half (so as not to waste a substitution slot) but was replaced at the end of the interval.
So far this season, Thuram has been one of the most important players for the Nerazzurri: the French forward has scored a remarkable 10 goals in Serie A and has also provided 7 assists.
