Inter were in an unstoppable mood , putting four past Fiorentina, including a Lautaro Martinez brace and Marcus Thuram’s first goal for the club.

Sommer: Made a couple of decent stops but was rarely tested by the Fiorentina front line. 6.5/10
Bastoni: Played in a great ball that Thuram just had to tap in and did the same in the second half for Dumfries. Excellent. 7.0/10
De Vrij: Wonderfully timed tackles, very good reading of the threat Fiorentina posed. 6.5/10
Darmian: Quietly excellent, had the measure of Beltran and Nzola. 6.0/10
Dumfries: Should have done better when nearly played in by Thuram, had a chance that was struck against the woodwork in the second half. 6.5/10
Mkhitaryan: A little quiet at times, had a decent chance in the second half that he should have done better with. 6.0/10
Calhanoglu: Wonderful free kick that forced a strong save from Christensen. Didn’t make a mistake from spot with a clinical penalty. 6.5/10
Barella: Picked up a needless booking but otherwise at his pace-setting best. 6.0/10
Dimarco: Got into a good position early on, just lacked the final pass. Showed great fight to win the ball back and play the perfect cross for the Inter headed opener. 7.0/10
Thuram: Kept pulling out to the flank, fired a good effort well over the bar. Perfect positioning and a perfect finish for his first Inter goal but should have done better on at least two other occasions. 7.5/10
Martinez: Lively, lacking in finding space in the final third at times in the first half. Headed a good effort at Christensen just moments before finally getting on the scoresheet. Wonderful movement and finish to add the Inter 4th. 8.0/10

Christensen: Superb save to deny Calhanoglu from a free-kick – did similar to deny Martinez in the second half. Could do nothing on the Lautaro goal but was poor on the fumble that led to penalty awarded. 6.0/10
Dodo: Had a torrid night of it against Dimarco. Lacking. 5.0/10
Milenkovic: Labored on the ball for too long ahead of the Inter opener. 5.0/10
Ranieri: Wayward in the tackles at the back and needlessly booked in the first half. 4.5/10
Biraghi: Should have been stronger on marking Thuram for the opening goal. 5.0/10
Arthur: A few nice touches but nothing of note. 5.0/10
Mandragora: Wasn’t able to really get a foothold on the midfield. 5.0/10
Nico Gonzalez: Pretty anonymous for large periods, rightfully subbed off. 5.0/10
Bonaventura: Had a half decent effort just over the crossbar. 5.5/10
Kouame: The better of the Fiorentina front 3, but that’s not saying much. 5.5/10
Beltran: Very quiet, barely had a touch of the ball in the first half. 4.5/10
