Inter wing-back Darmian out until 2023

Inter have suffered a major blow with two crucial fixtures on the way prior to the World Cup as wing-back Matteo Darmian is out until 2023 due to injury.

According to reports from Tuttomercatoweb, The Italian international tore his thigh towards the end of August, but then suffered a relapse upon his return against Atalanta.

So far this season, The 32 year-old featured in ten fixtures for Inter within the Serie A, managing to provide two assists for the Nerazzurri.

As a result, it seems that youngster Raoul Bellanova will be tipped with more playing time within the near future on the right-hand side.
