Manchester United and Aston Villa interested in Denzel Dumfries, Inter look to Dedic

Premier League sides Manchester United and Aston Villa are being linked with a move for Inter full-back Denzel Dumfries. The Dutchman has a contract with the Nerazzurri until 2025, but there have been no talks over a contract renewal as Inter are expected to cash in on his sale.

La Gazzetta dello Sport report that the Nerazzurri are looking to brin in three players in the summer, namely Amar Dedić from RB Salzburg, Albert Guðmundsson from Genoa, and Brazilian goalkeeper Bento.

The newspaper outline how there is a market for Dumfries, which Inter are hoping to capitalise on. The player is especially focused on the Premier League, which is the league that attracts him the most. Manchester United’s interest dates back to January 2023, but no official offers were forthcoming  from the Red Devils.

Gazzetta suggest that Aston Villa now have Dumfries on their shopping list, given that they are close to qualifying for the Champions League. Inter values the player at €30 million, and the player’s entourage is also aware of the interest. It remains to be seen what the Dutchman will want to do.
