Milan to trigger Zirkzee release clause

Milan have reportedly informed Bologna that they are planning to trigger the €40m release clause in Joshua Zirzkee’s contract. Reports from Italy earlier today suggested the Rossoneri were pressing to sign the Dutchman, and had intensified their efforts to get a deal completed before the start of the transfer window, proper.

Transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano reports that Milan have now informed Bologna of their intention to trigger the release clause, and talks are now ongoing between the Rossoneri and Zirkzee’s camp to reach an agreement on personal terms.

Zirzkee is reportedly keen to stay in Italy, as well as being very keen on making the move to Milan this summer.
