Napoli are in the final stages of agreeing a loan deal for Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tanguy Ndombele. The Frenchman is not thought to feature in coach Antonio Conte’s plans for the new season and is expected to leave before the transfer window closes at the end of the month.
Ndombele has attracted attention from around the Premier League from the likes of Everton and Nottingham Forest , however Italy looks like his most likely destination.
Sky Sport Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Napoli sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli visited Paris yesterday to finalise the deal to sell Fabian Ruiz to PSG and to pick up goalkeeper Keylor Navas.
Whilst there, Giuntoli reportedly continued his talks with Ndombele’s entourage after Napoli reached an agreement with Spurs to sign the Frenchman on loan with a buy option.
The club now need to agree personal terms with the 25-year-old as they hope to bring him in as a direct replacement for Ruiz.
