Napoli identify Danso as Kim replacement

Napoli have reportedly identified Lens defender Kevin Danso as one of their main targets to replace Kim Min-Jae. Korean centre-back Kim completed his move to Bayern Munich yesterday, leaving the Partenopei with a large space to fill in their back line.

Previous reports had suggested that Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Max Kilman was one of the leading candidates to fill the role, but the Premier League clubs’ demands were considered too high.

Il Mattino report today that Danso is a potential alternative target, given that he would be available at a lower price.

The newspaper claim that Napoli will offer around €12 million for the 24-year-old, who may be willing to make the move to Serie A this summer.
