Napoli look to Daichi Kamada

Start

Reports from Italy suggest Napoli will look to Japan and South Korea to find new talent, including Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Daichi Kamada. The Partenopei have had  recent success with the arrival of Kim Min-Jae who has gone on to become a vital part of Luciano Spalletti’s squad, helping guide them to this seasons Scudetto.

La Gazzetta dello Sport claim that Napoli may be forced to sell the 24-year-old this summer, given his contract includes a €45m clause that is exercisable from the first week of July.

The South Korean’s success in Naples has prompted the club to once again look to the Far East in search of new talent, as well as organise a pre-season tour of the region this summer.

Among the names being linked with Napoli are Valencia midfielder Kang in Lee and Real Sociedad winger Takefusa Kubo, both young talents on the rise with impressive profiles.

Another more immediate option could be Frankfurt’s Kamada, who is available this summer on a free transfer. Gazzetta claim that Napoli have already been in contact with his agents Roberto Tukada and Thomas Kroth to sound out the prospect of a summer move.
