Bundesliga Talent Alessandro Puzzo Is Being Monitored By Three Serie A Clubs
The 18-year-old is widely considered to be one of European soccer's hottest properties.

FC Koln wonderkid Alessandro Puzzo is on the radar of three Serie A teams with his future in Germany uncertain.
Puzzo has excelled for Koln’s Under 19’s whereby the attacking midfielder has netted five goals and provided seven assists across 17 appearances in all competitions.
His dazzling displays have caught the eye of a number of Italy’s elite. The trio of clubs are all keeping tabs on Puzzo whose contract is set to expire in the summer.

According to Fussball Transfers, Atalanta, Bologna and Lazio are all interested in Alessandro Puzzo. Sports journalist Dominik Schneider says that La Dea has already made inquiries for the 18-year-old starlet.
Which is probably just as well with the Serie A club likely to lose academy prospect Marco Palestra to Juventus. The Bergamo-based side has carved out a fine reputation for nurturing young talent in recent years.
Puzzo – who holds German and Italian citizenship – would fit the mold of what Atalanta expects. That perhaps gives them the advantage at this early stage.
As for the Rossoblu and Biancocelesti, the duo are happy to keep tabs on Puzzo for the time being. His talents are expected to catch the attention of more European sides but for now, the Serie A clubs lead the way.
Will Alessandro Puzzo Sign A New Contract With FC Koln?
It’s unknown whether Alessandro Puzzo will commit to FC Koln or seek a new venture. He certainly won’t be short of potential suitors if he does decide to move on.
Puzzo is yet to determine his international allegiance but his Italian origins could sway a move to Serie A. After all, the FIGC have introduced a new rule which favors the signings of Azzurri Under 23 players.
Those who acquire aforementioned individuals will have a financial exemption from their club’s accounts. This is to encourage the signings of Italian youngsters.
From Koln’s point of view, they will be keen to keep hold of Puzzo. However, if they fail to show genuine intent, he will be free to start talking to all interested parties in January.
Who Else Are Atalanta, Bologna And Lazio Targeting?
Although Ederson could quit Atalanta next month with Barcelona and Liverpool interested, La Dea have a number of targets they are pursuing.
Hellas Verona hotshot Giovane is a strong consideration. So is Crystal Palace forward and ‘Serie A fan’ Jean-Philippe Mateta. However, a number of Europe’s elite are tracking the Eagles forward so competition will be fierce.
As for Bologna, the Coppa Italia winners are keeping tabs on Axel Disasi, Diogo Leite, Marc-Oliver Kempf and Oskar Pietuszewski.
With a number of players on their radar, Vincenzo Italiano will be more concerned about losing players. Sunderland target Jhon Lucumi is reportedly available for a knockdown fee.
Santiago Castro is also on Inter Milan’s shortlist. The 21-year-old star has shined so far this season and a deal could be struck for approximately €35million.
Lazio is also expected to be extremely busy over the next two windows. A number of outgoings are expected but the likes of Giacomo Raspadori, Andrea Pinamonti and Lorenzo Insigne could all be drafted in.
No matter what happens over January for the Serie A trio, all are expected to ramp up their interest in Alessandro Puzzo who in time, could be one of Europe’s finest attacking midfielders.
