AC Milan Identify Alisson Becker To Replace Mike Maignan
The 33-year-old could be heading back to Serie A.

Alisson Becker has emerged as a potential suitor to replace Mike Maignan at AC Milan next season.
According to Sacha Tavolieri, the Rossoneri have already opened talks with the Brazilian goalkeeper’s entourage about moving to the San Siro.
Max Allegri is very much on the lookout for a new stopper in the summer. Maignan is likely to leave on a free transfer and the Diavolo boss believes the current Liverpool star could adequately fill the void.

Having impressed against Inter Milan in the Champions League on December 9, Alisson Becker has been lined up for a move to the Nerazzurri’s rivals.
AC Milan – who is interested in Real Madrid goalkeeper Andriy Lunin as well – strongly believe they can acquire Alisson from Liverpool in the summer.
The 33-year-old will have entered the final year of his contract. Therefore, making a potential deal much smoother with the Reds set for a squad overhaul.
Alisson has been a loyal servant to the Reds over the last eight seasons and won a number of major trophies. However, the Samba star is keen to try a new venture and a return to Serie A is one he will strongly consider.
How Much Will Alisson Cost?
Considering Liverpool has already future-proofed the goalkeeper position at Anfield with the arrival of Giorgi Mamardashvili, a deal in the region on €20-25million should be enough to land Alisson Becker.
The Brazil international is very much in the twilight of his career but still has plenty to offer. Alisson is widely regarded as a world class star and already has Italian soccer experience on his CV.
Between 2016-2018, the 33-year-old represented Roma. During his time in the capital, Alisson helped the Giallorossi to the Champions League semi-final.
He kept an impressive 22 clean sheets during the 2017-18 campaign. In turn, that saw him secure a world-record €72.5m transfer to Merseyside.
Will Mike Maignan Quit AC Milan?
Although a new Mike Maignan contract is set to be offered to the AC Milan star, his departure is almost a given. Maignan has previously hinted he wants to move on and that stance hasn’t changed.
The France international has attracted interest from a number of Europe’s elite. Chelsea are a prime contender to land Maignan with the Blues unconvinced by Robert Sanchez.
PSG, Bayern Munich and Juventus are also monitoring Maignan’s situation. In an ideal world, Milan won’t want to lose their star man.
However, with the possibility to bring Alisson Becker on board, the Rossoneri will have handed the gloves over to a star of equal – if not greater – stature.
