Ardon Jashari Milan Transfer Update

Ardon Jashari’s Move to Milan is on Hold – Here’s Why Inter Could Unlock Transfer

Start

AC Milan’s push to sign Ardon Jashari from Club Brugge has stalled, despite the midfielder’s desire to join the Rossoneri.

Milan has put forward a final bid worth €32.5 million plus €5.5 million in bonuses, bringing the total package to €38 million, but Brugge continues to hold out for €40 million.

According to multiple reports in Italy and Belgium, the situation hinges on a separate deal: Club Brugge’s move to sign Aleksandar Stankovic from Inter.

Inter Hold Key To Jashari-Milan Transfer

While Milan and Brugge are at a standstill, Brugge is actively working to secure a replacement for Jashari.

That replacement is Inter midfielder Aleksandar Stankovic, and progress in those talks could unlock the Swiss international’s long-awaited move to San Siro.

Discussions between Inter and Club Brugge have been encouraging, but the clubs are struggling to agree on two key clauses.

Inter wants a buyback option of €25 million, while Brugge wants to increase that to €30 million. Inter also wants to include a resale clause, which gives them a percentage of any future sale of the player.

Once those details are settled, Brugge is expected to give Milan the go-ahead to finalize the Jashari transfer.

Does Jashari Want to Join Milan?

Jashari has made no secret of his intentions: he wants Milan and nothing else.

The 22-year-old has turned down lucrative offers from Nottingham Forest, West Ham, and at least two other Premier League clubs in order to wait for the Rossoneri.

His agents are working around the clock to close the deal, aware that Milan sees Jashari as a vital piece in their midfield rebuild under new sporting director Igli Tare and coach Massimiliano Allegri.

Meanwhile, the Swiss international is training alone and was absent from Club Brugge’s recent friendlies, fan events, and the official kit launch.

While he has been given an extended break, there are real doubts he will report for pre-season training on Tuesday as scheduled.

Is Jashari Still Signing for Milan?

Milan believes their offer is fair and final, with it being close to Brugge’s valuation when bonuses are included.

While they remain hopeful that Brugge’s signing of Stankovic will pave the way for Jashari, they are not expected to increase their offer any further.

The Rossoneri already sealed a deal this week for Pietro Terracciano, who arrives from Fiorentina to replace Marco Sportiello. The goalkeeper will wear the No. 1 shirt and join the squad for their pre-season tour in Singapore.
