Axel Disasi West Ham switch ends Serie A rumors
Axel Disasi has finally made his choice. He’ll still be in the Premier League, but he’ll switch sides in London, moving from Chelsea to West Ham.
The Frenchman has been announced as a new signing for the Hammers after being in the sights of AC Milan first and Fiorentina then for a while.
The player joins West Ham on loan from Chelsea until the end of the 2025/26 season.

The 27-year-old has played in five games for France and was on the French team that came in second at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
He also played in the famous final against Argentina. Disasi was born in Paris and started his professional career with Paris FC before winning Ligue 2 with Reims.
He then spent three seasons as a key player for Monaco in Ligue 1 and European competitions before transferring to Chelsea in the summer of 2023.
From World Cup final to Premier League mainstay
The 2023/2024 season was the one where he really showed his talent with the Blues.
He played 38 games between the league and cups, scoring three goals.
Then, he got hurt in January 2024, which set him back even more, especially with all the new players the Stamford Bridge team picked up.
After he got back from his injury, he spent the last part of last season at Aston Villa.
When he came back, Enzo Maresca basically left him out of the squad.
With almost 300 appearances under his belt, both with club and national teams, Axel Disasi was an object of desire for AC Milan and Fiorentina. He would have bring a ton of experience at the highest level to the Hammers.
