Chiesa: ‘I never received renewal offers from Juventus’

Federico Chiesa has officially joined Liverpool as their first signing of the summer transfer window. Shortly after the announcement, Chiesa took to Instagram to share his perspective on the end of his tenure with Juventus. He addressed the failed renewal negotiations, his exclusion from the team’s plans, and his subsequent transfer.

“It is time to conclude this journey with you, Juventus fans. I want to express my gratitude for the immense support you’ve always shown me, which I will carry in my heart forever. With you and Juventus, I have grown both as a person and as a player. You supported me through good times and challenging moments, and for that, I will always be grateful. Over the past four years, I’ve had the chance to work with top-level players, staff, and coaches. You have been like family to me, helping me rise again even in the toughest times. I will cherish the joyful memories we shared.”

“As I say goodbye, I want to clarify the renewal issue. I never received any renewal offer from Juventus, and consequently, there was never a request from me or my representatives for a salary increase or decrease.
