Global Online Poker Championship Schedule Now Live

The Global Online Poker Championship spans 37 days between August 23rd and September 28th, broken into three regional schedules built around primetime hours in Asia, Europe and Latin America.

CoinPoker ambassador Mario Mosböck describes it simply as a “series for everyone.”

Every core event runs at High, Mid and Low buy-in tiers, so players can find their level regardless of bankroll size.

Every numbered GOPC event hands out Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals to its top three finishers. Gold Medals arrive as physical awards after the event, while Silver and Bronze exist as digital trophies inside the CoinPoker app.

Early stages of the schedule are already live in the CoinPoker app, searchable under the GOPC tab.

Players can expect a wide spread of formats across the series, including:

  • No-Limit Hold’em
  • Pot-Limit Omaha
  • PKO / Progressive Knockout
  • 6-Max
  • 8-Max
  • Freezeout
  • Turbo
  • Hyper
  • Deepstack

Three Main Events Headline the Championship

Three Main Events sit at the centre of the GOPC schedule, combining for $4,250,000 in guarantees and each built for a different bankroll.

The $530 Main Event Carries the Series’ Largest Guarantee

The $530 Main Event is the flagship of the whole series, carrying the largest guaranteed prize pool on the schedule at $3,000,000 and awarding Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals to its top finishers.

It’s also set to be the biggest prize pool CoinPoker has offered in its history.

Beyond the tournaments themselves, the GOPC carries $350,000 in promotions open to every player on the schedule.

The $200,000 Regional Leaderboards reward in-the-money finishes across nine separate boards, split into High, Mid and Low Tiers for Europe, LATAM and Asia.

The $20,000 Podium Race hands out points for every Medal won — 10 for Gold, 5 for Silver, 2 for Bronze — with the top five scorers splitting the pool once the series wraps.

A further $130,000 in Bankroll Boosts, covering tournament tickets and personalised missions, will be handed out to players throughout the GOPC.

The CoinMillion Returns Four Times During the GOPC

The CoinMillion carries a $215 buy-in and a $1,000,000 guarantee on every Sunday in September.

Originally scheduled for just the first Sunday of the month, it’s now been extended to run every Sunday in September. The September 6th edition marks the fourth running of the CoinMillion.

Each edition’s Day 1 kicks off at 16:30 UTC on September 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th, with Day 2 following the next Monday at the same time.

Winning a CoinMillion comes with a GOPC Gold Medal and a spot in the CoinMillion Hall of Champions.

Direct satellites and free Step qualifiers are already live in the CoinPoker lobby.

The most recent edition, the CoinMillion August Edition, saw its top three finishers each walk away with over $80,000 after striking a deal.

CoinMasters Expands Schedule for the GOPC

The weekly CoinMasters $150 BITCOIN tournament gets a boost to a $400,000 guarantee — $100,000 above its usual mark — on August 23rd, 30th, September 6th, 13th and 27th, with a one-off jump to $500,000 on September 20th.

The $1,500 CoinMasters BTC High Roller runs across four Day 1 flights on the Sundays of September, ahead of its Day 2 on September 28th, carrying a $1,000,000 guarantee.

A $25 Mini CoinMasters BITCOIN event also runs every Sunday in each region, giving players a lower-buy-in route into the format.

Every CoinMasters win comes with a Gold Medal trophy and a digital CoinMasters Coin for the winner’s collection. More than 1,300 players already hold collections, a number expected to grow through the GOPC.

The Weekenders Run Every Weekend Across Three Regions

The Weekenders are the series’ flagship weekly events, running at High, Mid and Low buy-ins. Day 1 flights play out Thursday through Saturday in each region’s time zone, with Day 2 finals every Sunday.

The Big Weekender ($125) guarantees $200,000, the Weekender ($55) guarantees $100,000, and the Mini Weekender ($11) guarantees $25,000. All three award Medals to their top three finishers.

The series closes out with the Global Championship on September 27th and 28th, played over two days at High, Mid and Low buy-ins of $2,100, $215 and $25, guaranteeing $300,000, $150,000 and $40,000 respectively.
