Genoa Transfer Market Turns to Zatterström from Sheffield United

Genoa are still on the lookout for Federico Baldanzi, but in the meantime, they’ve had a bit of a breakthrough.

According to GdS, the new name is Nils Zatterstrom, whom the Rossoblù would like to bring to Liguria on a dry loan until June.

The 2005-born player has made 41 appearances and scored three goals for Malmo and one for Sheffield United Under-21s.

He’s also played once for Sweden, nine times for the Under-21s and three times for the Under-19s.

His signing would also be a coup for the future. The 20-year-old’s contract is set to expire on 30 June 2029, in three and a half years.

Recently, Pablo Mari, who used to play for Fiorentina, has settled at Simone Inzaghi’s Al Hilal, and Lucas Martinez Quarta, who also played for Fiorentina, is now at River Plate. They’ve both been evaluated.

But the argentinian never said anything about his transfer, so the Grifone turned their attention to the Swede instead.

It’s not a walk in the park, but there’s some wiggle room, especially with the buy-back clause that’s part of the deal.

Felipe Loyola Pisa Deal Shows Ambition

Pisa won’t be the team to suffer for this Serie A season. And the transfer activity of the Tuscan club is showing just how much.

After Durosinmi scored on his debut, Alberto Gilardino’s team has completed the signing of Felipe Loyola.

It’s a permanent transfer, but there’s already an agreement in place for a future resale.

Felipe Loyola’s move to Pisa is a bit of an odd one. There’s a loophole in the system that means you can still leave a percentage to the old club, even though there’s no chance of them fielding him.

Actually, the loan with obligation is worth €7 million.

A Complex Operation with Big Stakes

Pisa Felipe Loyola deal includes a six-month loan for €1,300,000, plus a €200,000 bonus based on hitting certain targets.

There’s also an obligation to purchase 70% of the player’s registration rights for €5,500,000 if he plays in at least five matches with his new team.

They finally agreed on a purchase option for the remaining 30%, which is set at €4,250,000. So, the total transaction could be as high as €11.25 million.

This is a great result for Pisa, who are facing relegation.
