La Gazzetta dello Sport report that Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat is reportedly the new name at the top of Juventus’ list this summer. The Bianconeri have already missed out on midfield targets Franck Kessie and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic in recent weeks.
La Gazzetta claim that Juve directors Cristiano Giuntoli and Giovanni Manna have identified in the Fiorentina midfielder the graft that Allegri wants at all costs.
The Bianconeri coach has reportedly asked for a ‘player of substance’, who can make the difference in the middle of the pitch with his physicality. The report from Gazzetta outlines how this identikit goes well with the characteristics of the Moroccan international, who is also being tracked by Manchester United.
According to Gazzetta, Amrabat would gladly stay in Serie A: the Juve hypothesis is of interest to him. Fiorentina, however, are asking for €25 million plus bonuses for him: an important figure, which for the Bianconeri may not be out of reach, but only thanks to transfers.
