Juventus Face Competition For Randal Kolo Muani As Chelsea and Tottenham Enter Race For PSG Star

Start

Juventus will face fresh competition in the race to sign Randal Kolo Muani, as Chelsea and Spurs are both keen on the PSG star.

Are Juventus Interested In Kolo Muani?

Juventus have been linked with a move for the French international after his successful loan spell with the club towards the end of the 2024/25 campaign.

After failing to cement a place in the PSG side under Luis Enrique, Kolo Muani left the Ligue 1 side on loan in January and went on to score eight goals in just 13 starts for the Old Lady.

This level of performance has now interested Juventus into making a permanent offer for the 26-year-old and PSG are willing to let Kolo Muani go for the right price.

Alongside this, Juve have named their asking price for Dusan Vlahovic and this move may be key in funding an official bid for Kolo Muani this summer.

Juventus midfielder and international teammate of Kolo Muani, Kephren Thuram, has revealed that the striker does not need convincing to join the Serie A side this summer.

Thuram said: “He is one of the world’s best strikers. He’s fast, scores goals and works hard for the team. I don’t need to convince him to stay. This is Juventus, and everyone wants to stay.”

Kolo Muani has strengthened his chances of staying in Turin during the Club World Cup, as the French striker has scored two goals in two appearances so far for Juventus.

His deal in Paris does not expire until June 2028, meaning any interested party will need to submit a substantial bid for the Frenchman this summer – as PSG are not interested in another loan deal.

Could Kolo Muani Join Chelsea or Spurs?

One thing that could prove to be an obstacle in Juventus landing Kolo Muani, is a reported interest from both Chelsea and Spurs, who are looking to strengthen this summer.

Both of these Premier League sides achieved European success this season, as Chelsea won the Europa Conference League and Spurs ended a 17-year trophy drought by winning the Europa League.

Despite picking up silverware, Ange Postecoglou was relieved of his duties as Tottenham manager and the Lilywhites have recently appointed former Brentford boss, Thomas Frank.

The Danish coach will be looking to add some fresh faces to a Spurs side that finished 17th in the Premier League last season, while also being huge outsiders to finish in the top four on the best betting sites, and reports suggest that Kolo Muani has been added to the shortlist.

In a similar vain, Chelsea will have to add some more star quality to their roster next season after qualifying for the Champions League under Enzo Maresca last season.

The Blues have become notorious for splashing the cash in recent years and may be willing to go a step further than their London rivals when negotiating a deal for Kolo Muani.
