Roma could yet sell Nicolo Zaniolo with a number of Premier League and Serie A clubs still interested in the Italy international. The 23-year-old has a contract with the Giallorossi until 2024 and was reportedly in talks with the club to extend his deal until 2027, although no progress has been made as of yet.
La Gazzetta dello Sport report that Milan are giving serious thought to signing Zaniolo as a potential replacement for Rafael Leao whose contract talks with the Rossoneri are also at something of a standstill.
Gazzetta suggest Milan are keeping an eye on the Roma forward as they don’t want to be caught out if forced to sell Leao at short notice, while Sportmediaset report on similar lines, stating that the Rossoneri are the club most closely linked with the player.
Juventus, Spurs. Arsenal and Napoli are also following Zaniolo and Roma could look to sell him sooner rather than later, especially as contract talks don’t seem to be progressing.
