According to the latest Nico Paz transfer news, Real Madrid have already agreed terms with the Como star.

World renowned sports journalist Fabrizio Romano claimed on his YouTube channel that the Argentine will complete his Bernabeu return at the end of the season.

I expect Nico Paz to go to Real Madrid in 2026—not in January, but in the summer,” Romano told his followers on the video-sharing platform.

Nico Paz Transfer News

Real Madrid will exercise Nico Paz’s buyback clause in the summer transfer window for €8million. The global giants did have the chance to sign Paz in 2025 but decided against it.

In theory, that decision has clearly paid off. The Argentine international has been one of the standout stars in Serie A this season.

His phenomenal rise has not gone unnoticed and Los Blancos have moved quickly to re-sign their academy product. In doing so, they have beaten a number of clubs to his signature.

They include the likes of Inter Milan, Tottenham, Manchester City and Arsenal. However, a Bernabeu return was the only likely outcome and Paz has reportedly agreed terms with Xabi Alonso’s side.

The attacking midfield ace is set to play alongside Napoli target Franco Mastantuono next season. Antonio Conte’s side wanted to bring Paz’s compatriot to Naples this month but Real declined a loan move.

Nico Paz Como Stats

When Real Madrid sold Nico Paz to Como in 2024 and inserted a number of buyback clauses, it was clear the Spaniards were extremely confident he would reach his full potential.

Perhaps the only surprising element is how quickly it has taken Paz to blossom. His form and consistent and sparkling performances have wowed fellow pros and pundits across the continent.

This season alone, Paz already has six goals and six assists from 17 Serie A appearances. Overall in Italy’s elite, the 21-year-old has scored 12 times and chipped in with 15 assists since making his debut in August 2024.

In terms of accolades, Paz has been named as the Serie A Rising Star of the Month for August and September 2025. Last term, he was named in the Serie A Team of the Season and in The Athletic’s equivalent.

Paz was also voted as Serie A’s Best Under 23 player for the 2024-25 campaign. It’s no secret that the South American starlet has an abundance of talent, and in the not-so distant future, Paz can earn world class status at Madrid.
