Orsolini: ‘It was a perfect afternoon’

Riccardo Orsolini called Bologna’s 4-0 win over Lecce a perfect afternoon: “There is nothing better than celebrating a victory in front of our fans.” The 27-year-old scored a brace for the Rossoblu and shared his experiences of the match with DAZN in the post-match:

 “A perfect afternoon, from all points of view: personally and collectively, an incredible atmosphere. We live for these afternoons, there is nothing better than celebrating a victory in front of our fans. I try in my small way to contribute to the team; I think today there was a good response from everyone.”

Then he continued: “The president and I tease each other a bit, he told me before the game that I’m the only one wearing gloves… but it went well, I’m happy because I have a good relationship with everyone, day by day a beautiful connection is created. Sometimes maybe the defender doesn’t expect me to go on my right, I have to become a bit more unpredictable. It’s part of what we seek during the week.”

On the Europa dream: “Europe? It’s right that people have enthusiasm, they go in search of something that can stimulate the environment. But from our side, we just have to think about improving; it’s the only way to make them happy.”
