Napoli striker Victor Osimhen has been offered a huge €40 million per season contract by Saudi club Al-Hilal. The Nigerian international has been in talks with the Partenopei over a new contract, with recent reports suggesting a deal was close to being agreed.

The players agent, Roberto Calenda, has been in Naples to speak with Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis regarding the players contract, but a new offer has emerged from the Middle East.

La Gazzetta dello Sport report that Al-Hilal are prepared to offer Osimhen close to €40 million per season, while also paying Napoli the €200 million that De Laurentiis value’s the striker at.

Osimhen is current earning €4 million a season with Napoli, and could well be tempted by the mega offer, but the suggestion is that he would like to still play in the Champions League for the moment.

The Nigerian striker has also been courted by Manchester United, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain, but for the moment, he looks more likely to remain in Naples for the new season.
