Roma defender Roger Ibanez is on the verge of completing a move to Saudi side Al-Ahli after agreeing personal terms with the club. The move is expected to net the Giallorossi close to €30 million for the Brazilian centre-back, who has also been tracked by Premier League clubs Nottingham Forest and Aston Villa.
Roma have been open to the 24-year-old’s sale this summer as they’ve completed the singing of Evan N’Dicka on a free transfer, leaving them free to generate a profit from Ibanez’ move.
Sky Sport Italia, Fabrizio Romano and numerous others report that Ibanez has agreed personal terms with Al-Ahli, and while a deal is yet to be struck with the Giallorossi, the defender has been left out of their squad to face Tolosa in a pre-season friendly today.
