The Serie A news from Thursday’s Italian sports papers is dominated by Juventus’ first victory in 46 days.
With Luciano Spalletti set to be announced as the new Juve manager, the former Napoli and Azzurri boss would have been mightily impressed with what he saw.
A comfortable 3-1 victory was achieved against Udinese at the Allianz Stadium. Dusan Vlahovic, Federico Gatti and Kenan Yildiz scored in Turin.
Elsewhere, Roma moved joint-top of the Serie A table. Inter Milan brushed aside Fiorentina leaving La Viola coach Stefano Pioli on the brink.
