Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic has emerged as a key summer target for Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahce, with Turkish reports claiming a €40 million offer is in the works.
The Serbian forward is entering a crucial phase of his contract, and the Bianconeri are said to be open to offers.
Will Dusan Vlahovic leave Juventus this summer?
According to Turkish outlets Sabah and A Spor, Fenerbahce are making Vlahovic their top transfer priority for the upcoming window.
The 25-year-old has endured a mixed season in Turin, scoring 9 goals in 26 Serie A matches. With his contract set to expire in 2026, Juventus could look to sell this summer to avoid a decline in market value.
How much do Juventus want for Vlahovic?
While Fenerbahce are preparing a €40 million bid, reports indicate Juventus will demand closer to €50 million for the Serbia international. Vlahovic joined Juve from Fiorentina in 2022 for around €80m including bonuses, but hasn’t consistently hit the heights expected.
Now, as he approaches the final 12 months of his deal, the Turin club are reportedly keen to cash in and reinvest in a new-look attack.
Why does Mourinho want Vlahovic at Fenerbahce?
Mourinho’s Fenerbahce are second in the Turkish Super Lig and looking to dethrone Galatasaray next season. They currently lack a prolific striker and want to solve their goalscoring issues by signing a proven centre-forward.
The plan is to sell current striker Youssef En-Nesyri for around €30 million, then invest an additional €10 million to match their €40m valuation of Vlahovic.
Tottenham and Newcastle in the race for Vlahovic
Vlahovic is also on the radar of Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United, who both need attacking reinforcements.
Spurs have lacked consistency up front this season, while Newcastle are seeking depth behind Alexander Isak due to Callum Wilson’s injury concerns.
However, both English clubs are reportedly waiting to see what European competitions they’ll qualify for, which could give Fenerbahce an early advantage in the race.
Who will Juventus sign to replace Vlahovic?
Juventus are already eyeing potential replacements. A shortlist of attacking targets includes:
-
Victor Osimhen (currently on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli)
-
Jonathan David (Lille)
-
Mateo Retegui (Atalanta)
-
Lorenzo Lucca (Udinese)
The Bianconeri are expected to refresh their forward line whether or not Vlahovic leaves, but his sale would give them more financial flexibility.
