Napoli have confirmed the arrival of young Swedish talent Jens Cajuste from French side Reims. The move was first reported just days ago, but looks to have been pushed through quickly with Cajuste completing his contract signing to coincide with his 24th birthday.
The Swedish international has signed a five-year contract with the Partenopei for a reported €12 million fee. Napoli confirmed the move via the clubs official website, with a brief statement reading:
SSC Napoli is delighted to announce the acquisition of Jens Lys-Michel Cajuste on a permanent move from Reims.
Cajuste originally featured for Swedish side Midtjylland before rising through the ranks and making the switch to Ligue 1 in 2022. A promising season with Reims drew the attention of Napoli, who have signed the youngster as a potential replacement for Tanguy Ndombele.
