Alessio Romagnoli is ‘almost certain’ to leave Milan this summer with Juventus and Lazio interested in signing him. The 27-year-old has been with Milan since 2015 and has since become club captain.
His current contract with the Rossoneri is due to end in June and talks over a contract renewal have stalled. La Gazzetta dello Sport report that the player is almost certain to leave on a free transfer this summer. Milan had hoped to keep Romagnoli but they aren’t prepared to match his salary request.
Juventus and Lazio are both interested in signing the player for free in the summer, with the Bianconeri reportedly the more likely destination. Transfer journalist Daniele Longo believes Juve have a ‘70% change’ of landing the centre-back in July.
