Fiorentina star Moise Kean has dropped a big hint about his future amid transfer links with the likes of Barcelona and Fulham.

Moise Kean wants to ‘give back’ to Fiorentina

Kean has had a difficult season, scoring just three goals so far in 2025/26, the third of which came on Thursday night.

Fiorentina have seriously struggled this term, which has culminated in them being rooted to the bottom of Serie A.

In addition, the Viola are yet to win in the league, but Thursday night proved a confidence boost for Paolo Vanoli’s side.

Kean opened the scoring in the Europa Conference League win over Dinamo Kyiv.

Although the visitors equalised, Albert Gudmundsson bagged the hosts’ second for all three points.

Fiorentina’s issues have led to speculation over their key players, and Kean is said to be on the radar of several teams.

In November, it was reported that Fiorentina could sell Kean in 2026.

More recently, Barcelona have been linked with Kean, with Fulham also emerging as contenders.

However, speaking to reporters after the win over Dinamo, Kean suggested that he’s going to stay put.

When asked what the captain’s armband meant to him, Kean said: “It’s a huge responsibility.

“As I’ve already said, my teammates have lifted me to the top, and I try to repay them by lifting them up.

“For me, it’s important to always give that extra something.”

Kean then reiterated his desire to give back not only to his teammates, but to the city too.

“My teammates have faith in me,” he continued. “That’s the most important thing, especially for a striker.

“I feel truly protected by my team, and that’s the most important thing, what I needed.

“Now, as I said, I have to give back to my teammates, to the city, and to everyone.”

Fiorentina’s attacking transfer targets

While it’s unlikely for Kean to leave Fiorentina in January, nothing is impossible in football.

As a result, Fiorentina have identified Jeremie Boga as a possible replacement, according to reports.

While he isn’t a natural No.9, the Ivorian offers versatility across the forward line.

Shakhtar Donetsk attacker Eguinaldo is also a potential target for the Viola.

The Brazilian could be available for around €12million.

He is apparently keen on a January move to test himself in one of Europe’s top leagues.

Milan’s Santiago Gimenez is another name in the Fiorentina frame.

Admittedly, he is reluctant to leave San Siro – a stance echoed by his agent.

However, Gimenez’s inconsistent form with the Rossoneri could open the door to a loan move to Florence.

Fiorentina are reportedly also monitoring Milan and France forward Christopher Nkunku.

Nkunku has been struggling at Milan and speculation is doing the rounds claiming he could be in line for an early exit.
