Noa Lang could leave Napoli just six months after joining, according to reports in Italy.

Noa Lang Price Tag Revealed

The talented forward arrived in Naples from PSV Eindhoven in the summer, signing a five-year contract, but endured a nightmare start to life working under Antonio Conte.

His limited minutes led him to make a public complaint, to which the head coach did not take kindly, but he has finally become a regular performer this season after an impressive turnaround.

Lang started against Qarabag and Benfica in the Champions League in recent weeks, as well as against Atalanta, Roma, Juventus and Udinese in Serie A.

He also came on as a second-half substitute during Sunday’s crucial 2-0 victory over Cremonese.

However, his output has been poor, having mustered up just one goal in 21 appearances across all competitions.

As a result, Napoli are open to offloading him next month, per Il Mattino.

While there are currently no official bids for the wideman, any potential suitors would have to stump up around €30million, a similar amount to the package tabled by the Partenopei last summer.

He remains tied down under contract until 2030, with the deal worth €2.8m net.

Noa Lang’s Antonio Conte Spat

Lang controversially spoke out on his lack of playing time after Napoli’s 6-2 Champions League thrashing at the hands of PSV in October, revealing he had spoken to Conte just once since his arrival.

“Do I play little? I prefer not to say anything about it,” he said. “I think every player wants to play, right? I think that says it all. I don’t know what else I can do. I’m training hard. I have to bite my tongue a little.”

“But I have no other choice,” added Lang. “I signed a contract here, so I have to accept it as it is now. I have no other choice. Do I speak to the coach? No, not so much.

“Yes, I spoke to him once, but now we’re talking about the game that’s more important.”

Conte dismissed Lang’s criticism in a separate interview, issuing a no-nonsense response.

“Lang spent the full pre-season with us and played some games, but he was never a starter,” he said.

“I repeat, we must talk about the team and not about individuals, otherwise it would be armful. Noa has to work, and he’ll go to the pitch when I decide it. Otherwise, he’ll stay on the bench.”
