Cafu Urges AC Milan To Sign €35m Teenage Striker: ‘Can Become A Truly Great Player’

AC Milan legend has urged the Rossoneri to move for Vasco da Gama and Brazil youth forward Rayan Vitor, describing him as a “fantastic talent”.

Milan are likely to have a busy January on the transfer front, with numerous centre-forwards on their radar.
Although Milan have Niclas Fullkrug in their ranks now, the Rossoneri have been linked with a host of other attacking players.
Christopher Nkunku and Santiago Gimenez haven’t had great starts to their time at Milan, leading to speculation over a January departure.
There have been numerous reports suggesting the Rossoneri have set their sights on Rayan, a 19-year-old forward who has been shining in Brazil.
For instance, transfer insider Ekrem Konur has claimed that Milan are considering a €35m bid for Rayan if Nkunku leaves.

Cafu, who won a Champions League and a Scudetto with Milan among other trophies, has given his seal of approval for Rayan.
“I’m confident about him,” Cafu told Tuttosport when asked about links between Milan and Rayan. “He could be a good fit for any big Italian team.
“Rayan is a fantastic talent. He has a lot of quality and is quick in one-on-one situations. He knows how to play football, but he also sees the goal.
“He’s only 19 and can become a truly great player. Role? Up front. With his creativity, he can play both as a first and second striker. It depends on the coaches.”
What Rayan could bring to Milan
At just 19 years old, Rayan is already in his third season at professional level.
Rayan is a technically skilled left-footed player who is fast, powerful, and elegant.
He primarily plays as a right winger, but can perform well in any position across the front line..
Rayan is a good finisher and also makes important contributions in terms of creating chances and aerial play.
His record for Vasco this season reads 57 appearances, 20 goals and one assist.
Rayan is also a Brazil Under-20 international with 11 caps and two goals to his name.
