According to the latest AC Milan transfer news, the Rossoneri are plotting a January swoop for Radu Dragusin.

The Bucharest-born star has recently returned to action having missed the majority of 2025 with a serious knee injury. Despite that, Dragusin’s stock remains high.

Current employers Tottenham appear happy to let the center-back leave north London on loan this month. Having been regarded as one of Serie A’s finest defenders during his Genoa days, interest in the 23-year-old is high.

AC Milan Transfer News Reveals Radu Dragusin Interest

Fiorentina’s pursuit of Radu Dragusin was being engineered by Fabio Paratici but he hasn’t officially started his role with La Viola yet owing to demands from Spurs.

That has given AC Milan all the encouragement they need to swoop in now. Roma is keen on Dragusin as well but Milan are showing the most concrete interest.

It’s no secret that Max Allegri wants to increase his backline options. The Rossoneri head coach is a long-term admirer of Dragusin and wants to bring him into his roster as soon as possible.

With a chance of landing the Scudetto in 2026, Allegri knows how vital it is to add reinforcements for the second-half of the campaign. Owing to his Serie A experience, Dragusin is considered a fine addition.

Will Radu Dragusin Quit Tottenham?

Having suffered an ACL injury in January 2025, Radu Dragusin didn’t feature again until the recent Tottenham victory over Crystal Palace on December 28.

Although he is highly-rated in north London, a fresh spell away could prove beneficial for both club and player. Especially as the Romanian star needs minutes to regain full fitness.

The pace and rigors of English Premier League soccer isn’t exactly what Dragusin needs currently. The slower pace of Serie A would decrease the chances of further injuries and improve his overall fitness.

Even though Milan is chasing Nathan Ake, a move for Dragusin is more likely at this stage. The Rossoneri’s title charge is one that will surely tempt the 23-year-old star and Spurs would happily oblige.

AC Milan Transfer Targets

The January transfer window is expected to be a very busy month for AC Milan. Niclas Fullkrug joined on loan from West Ham and has already made his debut.

Alongside the likes of Nathan Ake and Radu Dragusin, a number of other defenders have also been strongly linked with a San Siro switch.

Oscar Mingueza, Axel Disasi and Nathaniel Brown are currently on the Rossoneri’s shortlist. So to are the likes of Oumar Solet, Souza and Luiz Felipe.

Even veteran superstars Thiago Silva and Sergio Ramos have been mooted. However, it appears at this stage that Dragusin is the most likely to sign on the dotted line.
