Fabio Paratici Fiorentina Appointment Confirmed as New Sporting Director
Fabio Paratici is officially Fiorentina’s new sporting director, ending months of uncertainty and marking a major shift in the club’s transfer strategy.

Fabio Paratici Fiorentina Appointment Is Official
No more rumours or speculation, please. Fabio Paratici is the new Fiorentina sporting director, as of now. He’ll be starting on 4 February.
So, after Daniele Pradè quit on 1 November, Fiorentina started looking for a new senior exec to lead the transfer market with Roberto Goretti. Tottenham’s transfer guru, who used to work for Juventus and Sampdoria, was the obvious choice. Goretti will carry on in his role until Paratici gets here, and then he’ll help him out as sporting director.

FIFA banned Paratici for 30 months in 2023, forcing him to resign, and he returned to Tottenham in October. But now it looks like he’ll be out again just three months later.
The report also says that Paratici wanted to make his own appointment, even though he wasn’t officially back at the club when Frank arrived. There’s no mention of who that might have been, though.
