Juventus are set to reopen contract talks over Weston McKennie in February as he moves closer to the end of his current deal.
The American’s contract is due to expire on June 30, 2026, and that timeline is why Juventus want fresh discussions soon.
The meeting is expected to be held with McKennie’s agents, with Juve keen to avoid losing him for free.
Interest elsewhere is already building, with several clubs tracking his situation while Juventus weigh up the numbers.

The Juventus hierarchy and the agents of Weston McKennie plan to meet up again in February, according to Tuttomercatoweb.
Juve head coach Luciano Spalletti likes the United States international and would like to extend his contract.
However, the current asking price is high. McKennie reportedly wants €4.5m a year for four years, though he is open to negotiations.
At present, the midfielder is on €2.5m per season, so he would be in line for a near-double pay rise.
McKennie’s contract uncertainty has led to both AC Milan and Roma making contact over him in recent weeks.
They aren’t the only ones eyeing McKennie either.
The English Premier League, the Turkish Superlig and the MLS are all looking at the American.

Weston McKennie has scored four goals across his last six matches, which shows how important he has become in recent weeks.
Juventus boss Luciano Spalletti has also publicly praised his attitude, calling him the “perfect” player for a coach.
Spalletti highlighted his bravery and versatility, saying he can be moved to different roles, even full-back, without complaining.

“McKennie is the perfect player for a coach,” he said. “He has this ‘tell me and I’ll do it’ attitude.
“He’s clearly faced his childhood fears; he’s brave. He does things that at first glance aren’t part of his technical background.
“Play him at right back, move him to the wing. He doesn’t complain.”
That mix of form and flexibility is why Juventus want to talk again in February, even if the finances still need bridging.
If Juventus can get closer to McKennie’s figures, a renewal becomes realistic. If not, interest from AC Milan and Roma may only grow.
