AC Milan Set For Seven-Figure Payday As ‘Special Talent’ Close To Being Sold To English Club

Alex Jimenez could earn AC Milan upwards of €14m if he joins Bournemouth permanently, according to reports.
The 20-year-old joined the English Premier League side on an initial loan deal from Milan in the summer.
Jimenez has gone from strength to strength at Bournemouth and, on January 24, he scored en route to a 3-2 win over Liverpool.
This has put the Milan loanee firmly in the spotlight, and the Cherries are on course to snap him up.

Alex Jimenez is set to join Bournemouth due to them being just two matches away from exercising the mandatory purchase clause in the agreement with Milan.
Once that clause is activated, both Milan and Real Madrid will lose any remaining rights over his future.
Real are Jimenez’s training club. Milan signed him from the Bernabeu in 2024.
According to The Athletic, Bournemouth will have the ownership of the player if he started, or played more than 45 minutes, in 18 games.
This currently stands at 16 and, considering how well he is doing, there is little chance of him not starting in two more games this term.
Bournemouth are reportedly expected to pay €19.5m and a maximum of €5m in add-ons for Jimenez.
Milan get the first €5m of the fee and 50 per cent of the rest. Madrid will receive the other half-share.
This works out at around €14.75m, a considerable seven-figure payday for the Rossoneri.

Alex Jimenez has been a revelation for Bournemouth, with England’s pundits singing his praises.
BBC Sport’s Pat Nevin said: “If I had a favourite breakthrough player of the month I would have to go for Alex Jimenez at Bournemouth.
“The young Spaniard has had a nomadic career via Real Madrid and AC Milan but the 20-year-old has finally found his feet.”
“Against Brighton, he was my man of the match and scored against Liverpool during another fearless eye-catching display.”

The Scotland legend added: “Very soon I suspect everyone else will be super impressed by the classy full-back-midfielder-winger.
“He is a special talent currently flowering before our eyes. Watch him!”
With that in mind, there is the risk that Milan could regret not having given him more opportunities.
However, Tuttomercatoweb have reported that there’s no air of regret at Milanello.
‘Davide Bartesaghi’s explosive performance and Alexis Saelemaekers’ recovery have made up for his departure,’ they wrote.
‘Jimenez and Milan simply stopped travelling stopped traveling on the same trajectory. And in the end, both found a way to benefit.’
In other news, sweeping boardroom changes at Milan are expected to be announced in a matter of days.
