Napoli set to extend Lobotka’s stay

Following a fine run of brilliant displays over the past couple seasons with I Partenopei, Napoli are set to extend Stanislav Lobotka’s stay at the club.

As it stands, the Slovakian international’s contract with the Azzurri established to run until the summer of 2025.

However, with many clubs placing the central midfielder under their radars, the club is eager to tie the 27 year-old down to the Diego Armando Maradonna stadium for a longer period.

According to reports from Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, both parties have agreed on a five year-contract that will expire in the summer of 2027 at a salary of €3m per-season.

So far this season, the former box-to-box midfielder from Spanish outfits Celta Vigo has peaked under Spalletti at the helm through his vision and creativity within the offensive phase, accumulating a total of a goal and an assist in all ten fixtures of the Serie A for his side.
