Denzel Dumfries has emerged as a target for Liverpool and Inter have reportedly told the Reds his price tag.

Speculation linking the Inter full-back to a San Siro exit has been doing the rounds in recent weeks.

Meanwhile, Liverpool are looking for options to cover for Jeremie Frimpong, who suffered an injury earlier this week.

Now, Inter are reported to have relayed their price tag for Dumfries to his agents and to Liverpool.

Denzel Dumfries: Liverpool must pay at least €25m

Denzel Dumfries recently changed agents, suggesting he is looking for a way out of Inter in 2026.

This appears to have alerted Liverpool, who are now circling around the Dutchman as they look to bolster their ranks.

Italian transfer expert Nicolo Schira has reported that Liverpool have held talks with Dumfries’ agents.

The Reds are exploring the conditions for a possible signing, added the transfer insider, who also highlighted the player’s recent agency change.

Meanwhile, Inter have reportedly set their price tag for Dumfries at €25m ($29.7m/£21.5m).

Dumfries is currently injured but could be back in time for Inter’s Champions League playoff against Bodo/Glimt in February.

Inter eyeing Denzel Dumfries alternatives as Nottingham Forest move for Frattesi

Inter are looking to strengthen the right flank at present, and not just because of Denzel Dumfries’ uncertain future.

The Nerazzurri appear not to rate Luis Henrique very highly after his struggles for the San Siro side.

Therefore, Inter have explored options including Moussa Diaby, Ivan Perisic and Brooke Norton-Cuffy.

Furthermore, Dumfries is not the only Inter player attracting Premier League interest.

Nottingham Forest want Davide Frattesi and are reported to have made an official loan offer to Inter.

The next step is the player’s final approval, with Frattesi potentially leaving after two and a half years at Inter.
