Federico Chiesa Edges Closer To Serie A Return As Liverpool ‘Consider’ Juventus Offer With Roma Also Keen

Federico Chiesa is being pursued by Juventus and Roma with a Serie A return appearing inevitable.
Chiesa has struggled for game time at Liverpool and is likely to quit Anfield this month. Even though he has become something of a cult hero on Merseyside.
A viewpoint of which has not been shared by Reds head coach Arne Slot. The Dutchman has used Chiesa sparingly this term despite Mo Salah’s outburst and subsequent absence due to AFCON.
Chiesa has scored twice in the English Premier League and provided three assists in all competitions this season. However, the 28-year-old hasn’t started a single game in 2025-26.

Federico Chiesa Transfer News Reveals Juventus And Roma Interest
With Federico Chiesa’s Italy future also uncertain, the right-winger knows he needs a fresh start to enhance his chances of making the Azzurri squad for March’s World Cup playoffs.
And that is where former club Juventus comes in. Head coach Luciano Spalletti is exploring the possibility of reuniting Chiesa with the Old Lady.
According to the AnfieldWatch, Chiesa is ‘considering’ an emotional Allianz Stadium return. During his first spell in Turin – including his two loans – he scored 32 times in 131 goals whilst chipping in with 24 assists.
Meanwhile, Roma loanee Leon Bailey is on the brink of having his deal cancelled. The Jamaican international has endured a torrid time in the capital.
That means head coach Gian Piero Gasperini is eyeing a new winger and is keeping tabs on Chiesa. The wily old boss is a long-term admirer of the Liverpool man and is weighing up a January offer.
It’s unclear at this stage which destination Chiesa would prefer. However, it’s almost nailed on that he’ll be leaving England in the coming weeks.
A permanent transfer is perhaps unlikely so both Italian clubs will be vying for a loan deal. Something of which the Reds would begrudgingly agree to despite Alexander Isak’s injury.
Chiesa can often be used as a false nine but Arne Slot has proven extremely hard to convince this term. Meaning the Italy man has been left with little alternatives but to seek a new venture.
