Ruslan Rotan’s side raced into a 2-0 lead with just 14 minutes on the clock. That prompted Pioli into a number of second-half changes which eventually paid dividends.

Dodo, Luca Ranieri and veteran forward Edin Dzeko replied for the hosts. The trio of goals all came in the last 11 minutes with Dzeko notching the winner.

Despite going 2-0 down on the night, Fiorentina outclassed Polissya in various areas of the match to claim a 3-2 comeback victory.

Going down by two goals only spurred I Viola into action and their win was more than justified. The only concern at the Stadio Artemio Franchi was their defensive frailties.

Centre-back Victor Lindelof is on the cusp of moving to Florence which will help reinforce the backline. The Swede is set to reunite with former Manchester United team-mate David de Gea.

The Fiorentina highlights from the 3-2 victory over Polissya will give supporters plenty to ponder going into this weekend’s clash with Torino.

Oleksandr Nazarenko scored the opening goal with just 90 seconds on the clock. The Ukrainian capitalized on a defensive mix up to deposit the ball into an empty I Viola net.

In the 14th minute, Olexander Andriyevski scored a sensational volley from the edge of the box which flew past a helpless David de Gea.

From there, fans of the Serie A side would have been fearing the worst. However, an inspiring half-time team talk from Stefano Pioli tilted the scales back in Fiorentina’s favor.

With just one minute left to play, veteran forward Edin Dzeko scored his first goal for the club. The Bosnian tapped home from a yard out to turn the match on its head.
