Fiorentina Now Open To Selling Luca Ranieri As Lazio And Torino Circle

Fiorentina are now willing to listen to offers for Luca Ranieri, with interest building from Torino and Lazio.
The 26-year-old has been a Viola regular in recent seasons, but his status in Florence appears to have changed in recent weeks.
Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla reports Ranieri is ‘not untouchable’ anymore, and Fiorentina are monitoring the market around him.

Luca Ranieri has recently lost both his starting place at Fiorentina and the captain’s armband.
This has led to transfer speculation intensifying around the Viola centre-back, and there are clubs waiting to pounce.
Torino have made an initial approach in recent hours as they look for a defensive reinforcement during the window.
Lazio have also inquired, with Ranieri potentially becoming a candidate to replace Alessio Romagnoli.
The 31-year-old centre-back has been linked with a move to Saudi Pro League side Al-Sadd.

Who Fiorentina could sign to replace Luca Ranieri
The main issue with Fiorentina regarding Luca Ranieri is that they have already lost two central defenders this month.
Pablo Mari has left the Artemio Franchi to join Al-Hilal, while Mattia Viti’s loan was cut short, the Nice player going to Sampdoria.
Alfredo Pedulla’s report notes that Fiorentina would need to bring in two new recruits if Ranieri also leaves.
A move for Sikou Niakate has been discussed, but Tuttomercatoweb says now say the Viola have cooled their interest.
This is because Fiorentina apparently preferred a loan with option, while Braga pushed for an obligation.
Monaco defender Eric Dier was also reportedly proposed, but the Viola don’t see him as the right fit.
Other names doing the rounds include Diogo Leite, Jaka Bijol, Rodrigo Becao, and Diego Coppola.
However, Coppola is reportedly Paris FC-bound, which means the Viola will have to take him off their wish list.
Fiorentina have been busy in the January transfer window, signing the likes of Jack Harrison, Marco Brescianini, Giovanni Fabbian and Manor Solomon.
A number of big players have also left, such as Edin Dzeko and Amir Richardson.
