Guglielmo Vicario will cost Inter Milan approximately €25-30million in the summer transfer window, Inter Live reports.

Vicario looks almost certain to return to Serie A upon the conclusion of the 2025-26 season with Inter the front-runners to secure his signature.

The Azzurri international has endured a turbulent time with current employers Tottenham. Although Vicario has looked solid at times, Spurs have remained unconvinced by the Udine native who is prone to costly mistakes.

Guglielmo Vicario On Inter Milan’s Radar

Inter Milan target Guglielmo Vicario has been on the Nerazzurri’s shortlist over the last three months. Now, the Serie A giants know how much they’ll need to fork out to bring the 29-year-old back to the San Siro.

It’s no secret that Vicario’s future has been uncertain owing to his topsy-turvy performances this season. With his stock remaining high, Tottenham are happy to cash-in.

Although some in Inter’s camp believe Vicario’s asking price is somewhat inflated, he still has two-and-a-half years to run on his current deal. Aged 29, he is very much coming into his prime, too.

His previous spell with Empoli proved hugely successful from a personal perspective. So Inter knows exactly what he can offer should he move back to Serie A.

With veteran goalkeeper Yann Sommer set to leave upon the expiry of his contract, a new shot-stopper is Cristian Chivu’s priority and he firmly believes Vicario ticks all the right boxes.

Inter Milan Goalkeeper Transfer Targets

Even though interest in Guglielmo Vicaro is understandable, Inter’s pursuit of Emi Martinez is also gathering traction. The Argentine is understood to be happy to quit Aston Villa this summer.

Martinez’s missed Villa’s Europa League clash against Fenerbahce on January 22 which further fueled rumors who could leave this month.

However, the 2022 World Cup winner played against Newcastle on Sunday, The 33-year-old kept a clean sheet in an impressive 2-0 win but Inter are strongly considering the Argentina international.

Meanwhile, Elia Caprile is also a target. The Cagliari star has earned a number of plaudits this season and earned his maiden Azzurri call-up in November.

AC Milan and Juventus are also keeping watch over the Verona-born shot-stopper. Parma’s Zion Suzuki is also a consideration but at this stage, it looks like a straight battle between Guglielmo Vicario and Martinez.

The latter certainly offers more experience and has international success to his name. However, Vicario is viewed as a better long-term solution to the soon-to-be departing Yann Sommer.
