Whether Inter Fans Can Attend Milan Derby After Cremonese Firework Incident Travel Ban
Inter fans won't be able to go to Sassuolo, Lecce and Fiorentina - but they can still attend the Milan derby.

Inter supporters have been hit with a three-match travelling ban in Serie A after a dangerous incident during the win at Cremonese.
Italy’s Interior Ministry, led by Matteo Piantedosi, imposed the measure to protect public order and prevent repeat offences.
Inter’s 2-0 win was marred by unsavoury scenes five minutes into the second half.
A firework was thrown from the away end, which struck goalkeeper Emil Audero and forced him to undergo medical checks.
However, despite the ban, Inter fans will still be able to attend the Milan derby. This is despite the Nerazzurri being the designated away team.
Milan v Inter does not include movement of fans
Inter fans will not be able to travel to the next three Serie A away games which are not located in the city of Milan.
The order also forbids the sale of tickets to the residents of Lombardy, the northern region where Milan is located, for Inter’s league games at Sassuolo, Lecce and Fiorentina.

However, the Milan derby at AC Milan on March 8 is excluded from the ban. This is because it does not involve movement of fans, the ministry said in a statement.
In other words, it is treated as a local match, not an away trip requiring organised travel and transport policing.
“The measure is aimed at ensuring public order and safety and preventing the recurrence of incidents that could compromise the smooth running of sporting events,” the statement added.
Inter fan trouble: what happens next
The Italian Interior Ministry’s decision is not the end of the matter for Inter fans.
Inter are now awaiting the Sports Judge’s decision, which is expected on Wednesday, February 4.
Calciomercato.com has predicted a hefty fine for Inter and possible sanctions against the Curva Nord at San Siro.
The Nerazzurri’s next home game, against Juventus, is scheduled to take place on Saturday, February 14.
