Former Ivory Coast Coach Sends Warning To Juventus Over Jeremie Boga

Jeremie Boga joined Juventus from Nice in the latter stages of the January transfer window.
The Bianconeri swooped under the radar to sign an experienced international expected to deputise for Kenan Yildiz.
Boga’s Juventus deal runs until the end of the season, with an option to buy for around €4.8-5m.
Patrice Beaumelle, Boga’s former Ivory Coast head coach, has now told Juventus what to expect from their new signing.
Jeremie Boga: Juventus told new signing needs to feel ‘safe and loved’
Jeremie Boga has the opportunity to restart his career at Juventus after a sad end to his time at Nice.
On November 30 last year, Boga and several other Nice players were attacked by so-called supporters as they exited the team bus following their 3-1 loss at Lorient.
Boga was placed on sick leave and he didn’t play for the club again ahead of his move to Juve.
Patrice Baumelle spoke to Tuttojuve and he explained that Boga can be “unplayable” on his day.
However, he made it clear that Boga needs to feel “safe and loved” by his team and fans for him to be at his best.

“I just hope he’s been able to process everything that happened in Nice,” said Baumelle. “It must have been traumatic.
“Physically, in my opinion, he’ll need at least four or five competitive matches to regain his form and confidence.
“He’s an experienced player, but he needs support and guidance because he’s a player who requires everyone’s trust to perform at his best.”
When asked whether fans could be underestimating Boga, Baumelle replied: “I’ve known him since 2014, when he was playing for Chelsea’s youth team.
“I can’t say enough good things about him. He’s a pure talent, a one-on-one player, and on a day like this he can become unplayable. He can take on any opponent.
“But I repeat: he needs to feel safe and loved.”
What Jeremie Boga can bring to Juve
Jeremie Boga usually plays from the left wing, driving inside onto his right foot, but he can also operate on the right or as a second striker.
He is a pacey player who boasts impressive close control and skills to take on opponents one-on-one.
Boga, who will wear No. 13 at Juve, will deputise for Kenan Yildiz and potentially even challenge him for a starting spot.
He is already familiar with Serie A, having played for Sassuolo and Atalanta between 2018 and 2023.
Therefore, Boga should not need too much time to acclimatise back to life in Italian soccer.
