Juventus are reportedly leaning towards a straight loan, prioritising a destination that can offer weekly starts and a clear development plan.

Adzic has shown flashes of quality in training and cameos, doing enough to catch the eye of Luciano Spalletti and his predecessors.

However, those around the first team have felt he needs more match rhythm and familiarity with senior football.

Dejan Savicevic, the former Milan forward and Montenegro federation president, publicly shared that view.

“Adzic didn’t listen to me, he should have left Juve. I’m afraid he’ll get lost,” Savicevic said when discussing his compatriot.

Loan preferred, permanent sale not on cards

Reports say Adzic has now been convinced and is pushing for a temporary move to accelerate his progress and confidence.

Likewise, Juventus have apparently opened up to that pathway, with a six-month stint elsewhere viewed as the likeliest outcome.

Crucially, Juve are not considering a permanent transfer at this stage, as they feel Adzic can become a first-team regular.
