Juventus Face Kenan Yildiz Decision As New Contract Hinges On Two Big Demands

Juventus forward Kenan Yildiz has reportedly set two conditions for him to sign a contract extension at the club.

In addition, he reportedly wants to receive guarantees about the club’s ambitions over the coming years.

Yildiz currently earns about €1.7million per season at Juventus.

He would like a salary of at least €6million, matching the club’s current ceiling set by Jonathan David, according to reports.

Juventus have offered between €4million and €5million a year, with bonuses linked to individual and team targets.

There is still a gap of roughly €1million, and negotiations remain open as the club tries to keep its wage structure stable.

Gazzetta also reports that Juventus want to extend the Turkiye internatoinal’s contract by at least one extra year.

However, it’s not just about the money. Yildiz reportedly also wants guarantees about the club’s long-term project.

The report claims he wants to be the “Del Piero” of a competitive Juventus, not a star in a rebuilding project.

Talks slowed when Juventus dismissed Tudor during a poor run which risked jeopardizing their Champions League hopes.

With his contract secure until 2029, the parties agreed to pause discussions and reflect, aiming to revisit the issue in spring.

The arrival of Luciano Spalletti has led to an improvement in results and a more positive atmosphere around the club.

However, Italian media warn of interest in Yildiz from other elite clubs, including Real Madrid and Chelsea.

Yildiz is said to be settled in Turin, but Juventus are wary that a big-money offer could arrive if the renewal remains unresolved.
