When Will Fabio Miretti Return From Injury? Juventus Set To Receive Major Boost As Italian Returns To Training

Juventus have received some positive news about Fabio Miretti, as the Italian has returned from injury and could feature in October.

Fabio Miretti Injury Update

The Bianconeri have finally received some positive news in relation to injuries, as Italian midfielder Fabio Miretti has returned to training after recovering from a muscular injury.

Miretti spent the 2024/25 season on loan at Genoa and missed the final six matches of last season with a shoulder injury, meaning he returned to Turin with a knock.

After recovering from this shoulder problem, Miretti began his pre-season campaign with Juventus and was once again pushed to the sidelines in August during a match against the Juve Next Gen side.

Due to his problems with Genoa and then recent injury with Juventus, Miretti has not featured in a competitive fixture for over six-months, with his last appearance for Juve coming in May 2024.

The youngster could be a pivotal player for Juventus, as the Bianconeri could lose a central midfielder in January with Weston McKennie attracting interest from the MLS.

Igor Tudor’s side kicked-off the season with three consecutive wins in Serie A, before going on to draw each of their last five matches across all competitions.

Although Juve are yet to taste defeat this season, drawing five matches in a row will be a slight concern for Tudor and the Croatian will be looking for an improvement in Juve’s next Serie A clash.

Will Fabio Miretti Play Against Como?

Juventus will take to the road in their upcoming Serie A clash, as the Bianconeri face Como at Stadio Sinigaglia and Miretti could make a return to the matchday squad.

Miretti’s last Serie A appearance came in April 2025 for Genoa, meaning Tudor is unlikely to push the 22-year-old straight into the starting eleven.

Juve have been hit with a major blow during the build-up to the match against Como on October 19th, as Gleison Bremer has been ruled out for the remainder of 2025 after undergoing knee surgery.

With the Brazilian out of action, Tudor will need to make some changes to his side and Miretti could feature sooner rather than later, as Juve prepare for a host of difficult matches.

The Bianconeri are competing in three separate competitions this season, focusing on winning Serie A, challenging in the Champions League and entering the Coppa Italia Ro16.

After their tough test against Como in Serie A, Juve will head to Spain for their biggest challenge of the season, as the Bianconeri face Real Madrid in the Champions League.

Miretti could feature for the Italian side during their trip to Madrid, despite being left out of Juventus’ initial Champions League squad.

In order for the Italian to play, Juve would need to activate the new temporary injury rule by UEFA, meaning the Bianconeri would need to replace a player from the current UCL squad with Miretti – which could be Bremer after his recent injury.
