Juventus defender, Andrea Cambiaso, has commented on the latest rumors over a move to AC Milan and reveals he is happy in Turin.
Will Andrea Cambiaso Leave Juventus?
After two successful campaigns with Juventus, Andrea Cambiaso has been linked with a move away from Turin and is a reported target for Serie A rivals, AC Milan.
The Italian signed for Juventus in July 2022 before joining Bologna on loan almost immediately for the 2022/23 campaign, where he had his first real tasted of regular Serie A action.
Cambiaso made 34 appearances for the Italian side and put in a strong enough performance to return to Juventus and become a regular starter in the 2023/24 season.
Since then, the 25-year-old has made 81 appearances for the Old Lady and has now cemented himself in the first team while also becoming a consistent member of the Italian national side.
Juventus’ overall form has not been as impressive in recent years, failing to win the Serie A title since 2019/20 meaning they are priced as unlikely champions on Serie A betting sites.
A lack of success in Turin could see a host of star names leave the club this summer, which includes Cambiaso who has attracted interest from multiple clubs in Italy.
AC Milan are in the market for a left-sided full back before the 2025/26 campaign begins, as Theo Hernandez continues to push for a move to Atletico Madrid.
The Italian’s deal with Juventus is set to expire in June 2029, meaning any potential suitor would need to submit a fairly hefty bid of around $50 million.
What Did Andrea Cambiaso Say About AC Milan Rumors?
Rumors over a move away from Turin have clearly started to pick up traction, as the Juventus defender was asked to comment over any potential deal this summer.
Cambiaso revealed that he is very happy in Turin, but the Italian left some uncertainty after claiming he has not spoken to the new Juventus manager, Igor Tudor.
Cambiaso said: “I haven’t received any calls, maybe my agents have. The only certainly in life is death, but I’m happy here. I haven’t spoken to Tudor, but I know the club and the coach are crazy about me.
“I feel everyone’s trust, I’m happy in Turin and I’ve never asked to leave. From a personal and mental point of view, I’ve made great progress. It’s been a difficult season for me too, the second part didn’t go the way I wanted, but now I’ve put it all behind me.
“Now I feel good and my condition will improve with the games. I’ve had physical problems that have affected me heavily, but nothing more, I’m 25 and I play for Juventus, I don’t have any other problems.”
Juventus renewed Igor Tudor’s deal after the Croatian impressed towards the end of the 2024/25 campaign and Tudor will be looking to adjust his squad accordingly in the coming months.
