Rome–Reggio Emilia Axis: Lazzari, Pinamonti and a Domino Effect Across Serie A

The Rome-Reggio Emilia axis is heating up. Sassuolo is looking for a new right-back: Manuel Lazzari from Lazio and Pasquale Mazzocchi from Napoli are in their sights. Pinamonti is the new hot name for Sarri's side.

Sassuolo and Lazio heating up the Serie A transfer market

Interest in Lazzari could open up the possibility of Andrea Pinamonti being transferred from Sassuolo to Lazio. Maurizio Sarri is very keen on the striker, who would finally have the chance to establish himself after a good start of the season and an excellent performance in the last Serie A at Genoa. For the Emiliani, who could cash in on the increasingly likely sale of Muharemovic, this would be yet another example of intelligent budget management.

In addition to Pinamonti as a possible replacement for Castellanos, who has joined West Ham, Lazio has today initiated contact with Daniel Maldini of Atalanta and Giovanni Fabbian of Bologna. The latter is an opportunity. Because even though the midfielder has only played 10 matches (and 500 minutes in the league), he is being followed by many clubs for their midfield. Lazio is the first club to have set its sights on him, but first the Biancocelesti needed to make some transfers. Como also has plans to add him to its roster. The Larians intend to sign a new midfielder. Bologna are  in fact considering Fazzini from Fiorentina if the deal goes through. The goalkeeper issue should not be overlooked either: Torino and Lazio are actively pursuing a swap between Israel and Mandas in goal.

Verona Add Firepower. Isaac Arrives From Brazil

With Giovane likely to leave and Gift Orban not exactly being the prolific striker as he should be, Atletico has announced that it has completed the transfer of striker Isaac to Hellas Verona in Italy’s Serie A. The deal involves the sale of part of the player’s economic rights and the option to purchase an additional percentage. According to the statement, Atletico Mineiro has retained 50 per cent of the player’s economic rights, allowing for a financial return in the future.
