Casemiro is being targeted by a host of Serie A sides as the Brazilian’s contract with Manchester United comes to an end.

The 33-year-old’s future in the Premier League has been surrounded with doubt, as Casemiro’s deal in Manchester is set to expire at the end of the 2025/26 season.

Many expected the former Real Madrid star to leave Old Trafford in the recent summer window, but Casemiro has enjoyed a resurgence in Manchester United’s midfield under Ruben Amorim.

Casemiro has started in 13 of the Red Devils’ 14 league games this season, forming a partnership with Bruno Fernandes in the heart of midfield.

Although the Brazilian has put in some stellar performances, contributing to four Premier League goals (3G + 1A), his inclusion has left Kobbie Mainoo with little playing time.

United supporters have been left frustrated with Amorim’s management of the 20-year-old, as the Portuguese’s decision have seen Mainoo consider a move to Napoli.

The Englishman is expected to leave United on loan during the summer transfer window and will decide on his long-term future at the end of the season.

Mainoo’s situation may rely on United’s decision over Casemiro, as offering the Brazilian a new deal for 2026/27 would extend the Brit’s spell on the sidelines.

However, the 33-year-old may be on his way out of Old Trafford as a free agent next summer after attracting interest from a host of Serie A sides.

Serie A Giants Target Casemiro

Casemiro is entering the latter stages of his career and is not the same player that won five Champions Leagues with Real Madrid, however, the veteran is still a tempting option as a free agent.

According to reports, both Juventus and Roma are monitoring the Brazilian’s situation in Manchester, as the Italian sides would consider a move if Casemiro does not sign a new deal.

Luciano Spalletti is looking to blend a mix of youth and experience in his Juventus roster, as the Italian continues his tenure with the Bianconeri.

The central midfield position is one that may need addressing in 2026 as Khephren Thuram is considering a move away after failing to impress under Spalletti.

Roma are also hoping to add some reinforcements next year after making a strong start to the season and Gian Piero Gasperini is said to be a huge admirer of Casemiro.

The Giallorossi’s priority is a striker after recent struggles in front of goal, meaning Juventus may have a stronger approach when entering talks with Manchester United.

Both sides will be well aware of Casemiro’s monstrous salary in England, with the Brazilian earning over €350,000 per week and the 33-year-old can receive a more lucrative deal after attracting interest from Saudi Arabia.
