Inter Milan and Juventus Lead The Way For Most Expensive Kit Sponsors In Serie A Ahead Of 2025/26 Season

Start

Juventus and Inter Milan currently take up the top two places for the most expensive kit sponsorship deals in the Serie A ahead of the 2025/26 season.

Most Expensive Kit Sponsorship Deals In Serie A

1. Juventus – Adidas ($49 million per year)

Coming in at first place is 36-time Serie A champions, Juventus, who have been enjoying a lucrative sponsorship deal with Adidas since 2015, after a 12-year spell with Nike.

Juventus’ initial deal with Adidas in 2015 was worth around $150 million across six-years, bringing in $25m each year for the Serie A side and this deal was renewed in 2019.

This renewed deal saw a big leap in the deal’s value per year and the reported income peaked at around $63.3m a year, with this figure including bonuses.

This deal was set to expire at the end of the 2027/28 season, however, reports are now revealing that Adidas and Juventus have agreed a decade-long deal from 2028-28 for around $460m.

Breaking that down into yearly values, this deal would bring in around $46.9m each year and shows a slight decrease from previous years following Juventus’ off the field issues.

2. Inter Milan – Nike ($34.5 million per year)

Inter Milan agreed an eight-year deal with sportswear company, Nike, in July 2023 which extended a relationship that has spanned for over 25 years – first joining forces in 1998.

This renewed deal was said to be worth around $34.4m per season which is the largest amount Nike have ever agreed with the Italian side, coming after Inter’s Champions League final defeat against Manchester City.

Inter said at the time of the agreement: “Nike’s Inter kits and accessories have become cult items for the next generations, representing iconic and unforgettable moments for the club, while looking ahead and anticipating trends.”

Unlike Juventus, Inter’s deal with Nike has not put them in the top 10 most lucrative kit manufacturer deals in the world, sitting far behind the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona.

3. AC Milan – Puma ($34.5 million per year)

Moving over to the side of Milan now and we have AC Milan, who agreed a similar deal to their local rivals but did so with another global sportswear company in Puma.

The two huge names in sport agreed a $34.5m per season deal in 2022, which will run until 2027 and continues a partnership that began back in 2018.

Prior to this agreement with Puma, Milan were involved in a long-term partnership with Adidas, with the two companies joining forces from 1998-2018.

Milan are also far away from the most lucrative sponsorship agreements with a kit manufacturer, however, their deal with Puma placed them second in 2018 before Inter’s new agreement with Adidas.

4. Napoli – EA7 ($11.5 million per year)

Napoli are one of the more unique clubs in Serie A, as they are not in a partnership with a traditional sportswear company but are instead sponsored by iconic fashion company, Emporio Armani.

In 2021, both parties agreed a deal on a one-season basis and that has been the foundation of their relationship for the 2021-22 season, 22-23, 23-24 and 24-25.

No agreement has been made for the upcoming 2025-26 season, however, after winning the league title last season and being favorites to do so again on Serie A betting sites – it is likely they will renew a deal.

According to reports, Napoli’s deal with EA7 reached $11.5m following their recent Serie A title victories in 2023 and 2025, originally starting at just $3m each year.

5. Roma – Adidas ($5.4 million per year)

Coming in at fifth and the final spot is Serie A giants, Roma, who agreed a fresh kit manufacturing deal with Adidas in July 2023 for a reported $5.4m per year.

In recent years the Rome-based side have worn a plethora of different brands, working with Nike between 2004 and 2021, before a two-year spell alongside New Balance.

Roma fall short of their Italian counterparts in terms of kit sales, with both Milan sides, Juventus and Napoli all trumping the Giallorossi in relation to jersey sales.

Their current deal with Adidas is the most lucrative kit manufacturing deal in the clubs’ history and this agreement will continue until the end of the 2025/26 season.
